Lane's Masonic Records 1717-1894 At the end of the nineteenth century the Masonic historian John Lane compiled a list of all Lodges which had been set up by the various English Grand Lodges between 1717 and 1894 which included the name and the date of constitution of each Lodge, meeting places and alterations in numbers.
